“Housed in the former Midland Bank building, the hotel presents a paradox of grand architecture and sometimes overwhelmed service. Its numerous restaurants and bars buzz with activity, though this vibrancy occasionally impacts the attentiveness one expects from a luxury stay. I think that its unique atmosphere and prime location near Bank Station remain compelling for those who value style and convenience.”

polite staff beautiful building nice facilities low ceiling little daylight restaurant focus
the staff were very polite. the building is beautiful. i found the facilities really nice. i went for brunch not far from the hotel and had a lovely weekend.
the room felt a bit low-ceilinged. it faced a courtyard, so i saw very little daylight. i noticed the focus seemed to be on the restaurant and party areas.
